Spotify Introduces New Mobile Feature for Custom Playlist Cover Art

Karachi, October 23, 2024: Spotify has unveiled an exciting new feature allowing users to design and customize their own playlist cover art, giving music lovers more creative control over how their playlists look. This feature ensures that playlists not only sound great but also visually reflect the unique tastes and personalities of Spotify users.

With over 8 billion playlists created by listeners worldwide, music fans have been curating the soundtrack to their lives, capturing every mood and moment. Now, with the new “Create Cover Art” feature, Spotify is taking customization a step further. Users can personalize their playlist covers with options such as text, background colors and gradients, stickers, and even their own images, making each playlist truly one-of-a-kind.

The feature is rolling out in beta to Spotify listeners in 65 markets, available in English. Here’s how users can start creating their own playlist cover art directly in the Spotify mobile app:

Select a Playlist: Choose any playlist you’ve created or start fresh by making a new one.

Access the Feature: Tap the context menu (the “…”), then select “Create Cover Art.”

Customize: Add elements like text, backgrounds, stickers, and personal images to make your playlist cover art as unique as your music preferences.

Finalize and Share: Once you’re satisfied with your design, the new cover art will be applied to your playlist, ready to be shared with friends.

Spotify emphasizes that each playlist cover should reflect the individuality of the user, encouraging the use of original images for a truly personalized touch.
