Vivo is set to unveil the next iteration in its V series, the V50 lineup. According to newly surfaced information, the initial models in this series will be the Vivo V50 and Vivo V50e. This rumor emerged shortly after Vivo introduced the Vivo V40e on September 25, 2024.
Smartprix identified these two models by examining the IMEI database. Although Vivo might be testing additional models, only the V50 and V50e have been confirmed so far.
Vivo V50 Series Expected Launch
The Vivo V40 bore a strong resemblance to the earlier Vivo V30. With the Vivo V50 currently in testing, there are high expectations for this new series. While the Vivo V50 might share similar specifications with the Vivo V40, the company has not released any official details yet.

According to the IMEI database, the model numbers for the V50 and V50e are V2427 and V2428, respectively.
The Vivo V40e featured significant upgrades in its processor and charging speed compared to the Vivo V30e. While specific details about the Vivo V50e are still unclear, it is speculated that it might come with improved cameras, faster charging, and a more powerful processor than the V40e.
Expected Release Date
The official release date for the Vivo V50 series has not been announced yet. However, based on previous launches, predictions can be made. The Vivo V30 debuted in February 2024, and the Vivo V40 followed in June 2024. Therefore, the Vivo V50 is likely to be released in February 2025.
