England Captain Ben Stokes’ Home Burgled While on Pakistan Tour

England Test captain Ben Stokes has experienced a distressing burglary at his home in County Durham while he was away in Pakistan for the Test series.

The incident occurred on the evening of October 17, when a group of masked individuals broke into Stokes’s residence, stealing valuable jewelry and personal belongings. In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Stokes revealed that some of the stolen items had significant emotional value for him and his family.

“This appeal is to help locate these individuals,” Stokes stated, highlighting that the burglary took place while his wife was at home with their two young children. Thankfully, no one was physically harmed during the incident; however, it has taken a toll on his family’s mental well-being.

In an effort to aid the police in their investigation, Stokes announced plans to release descriptions of some of the stolen items. He urged anyone with information regarding the burglary to contact Durham Constabulary.

Stokes expressed his gratitude to the police for their exceptional support during this challenging time, noting that he was in Pakistan when the incident occurred. He confirmed that law enforcement is actively working to locate the suspects.
